Hello Faithful Readers! Life is going along with new joys and challenges everyday. Thank God He is always here working in our lives. Our school started this week and I am very excited about my classes and new students. Some of the students I had in Kindergarten and First-grade are with me again in Jr. High! That is so fun to be with those wonderful kids again. I am teaching Jr. and Sr. High literature and 5/6th grade reading and writing; Jr. / Sr. high school girls Bible, and K-2 Readers Theater. My word for this school year is JOY, I plan to experience and express joy everyday, and hopefully, my students will feel valued and joyful as well.

I am very thankful I get to do what I love everyday: teach amazing children about books and writing, and write my own books!

LAUNCHING IN OCTOBER: Crabby Abby the Decorator Crab’s Big Heart with the colorful and gorgeous illustrations of Kaelen Felix, published by Prolific Pulse Press LLC. This beautiful book for children ages 3 to 7 will make an exciting Christmas gift, especially for kids who love sea creatures. There is also a companion Coloring Book! I am very excited about the launch, please tell your friends. My vision is to provide sweet books that promote kindness, empathy and forgiveness for Christian families to enjoy together. Crabby Abby the Decorator Crab’s Big Heart reminds us it is ok to be ourselves even when others may be unkind. Crabby Abby through her new friend, Daniel Lionfish, learns how to remain kind and forgive those who hurt her feelings through the love of Jesus. Jesus loves all of us just the way we are, and we can love others too.

Events to watch for: The Cleveland Moms Third Annual HALLOWEEN SPOOKTACULAR, October 18, 11 am to 3 pm., at Caps Fieldhouse, 6060 W. Canal Road, Valley View, Ohio. For an amazing trick or treat event with all kinds of kid friendly activities. All indoors.

September 20, 10 a.m. to 3 p.m., at the Ashtabula County Nursing and Rehab Center on Dibble Road, Kingsville. We will be at their annual Craft Fair with books and giveaways!
