Hello friends!

Today is another sunny day filled with all the joys and trials everyday life can bring.

Before we get to the HOT Giveaways, first THE COOL TIP: Lately, I have been focusing on something that has been stealing my joy and diminishing my successes: Comparisons!!!!!!! Yes! As moms, grandmoms, authors, teachers, whatever we do in life, we cannot compare ourselves to others! Psalm 86:11 says, “Teach me your way, O Lord, that I may walk in your truth.” and Psalm 25: 4-5 says, “Make me to know your ways O Lord; teach me your paths. Lead me in your truth and teach me, for you are the God of my salvation; for you I wait all the day long.”

These verses remind me that truth comes from God because He is truth. He knows all about me and He has a specific plan and purpose/ministry for my life. He is the one who gives us talents and gifts and He is the one who calls to motherhood and ministries, (wherever your career path takes you, this is also your ministry). In the service of the Lord there is room for everyone, and everyone moves at their own rate. None is more important than the other. There is room for everyone. Matthew 9:37-38 says, “Then Jesus said to His disciples, ‘The harvest is plentiful, but the laborer are few. Therefore pray the Lord of the harvest to send out laborers into His harvest.”

We all have a place in the work of the harvest. I used to say “I am just a stay-at-home mom,” that was a lie and I was comparing myself with other moms with other paths. Motherhood IS our first ministry. There is no “just” about it. Whether you are mom with a career or a mom who stays home, your follow the path God has you on and keep going for His glory. So, stay in your lane…your work is vital and enjoy your daily successes free from comparisons!
